April 2006

I want to thank everyone for the tremendous turnout at the March 30^th meeting at Montanas. Believe we had 46 club members in attendance! (and one guest – Thanks Jada)

Once again, Mr. Montana has made a HUGE effort to make us feel welcome and I hope everyone was satisfied with the meal.

The month of March…. WOW – what a month!

Club membership turnout at each event was surpurb. I for one feel although a busy month, this was an exceptional one. Seems there was something for everyone. One day shows, out of state trips, open car shows. Corvette only events. And even a Vettes vs Vipers day at the track. (sorry, seems the Vipers would not stay to challenge the Corvettes.. .wonder why?)

April’s Poker Run has been postponed due to the maddening March events calendar. Stay tuned for a new date.

I’d like everyone to catch Shirley Harrington or Jada Cooper about bringing Corvette related (or not) items for our club meeting raffles. I was very pleased to see we added $75 to the club treasury this past Thursday night. Congrats to Wanda Alverson on wining the Corvette wrist watch! (and then drove off in the red, silver 78 anniversary Corvette- haha)
