March 2006
IÕd like to thank everyone again for the great turnout at the
meeting Thursday night. I do hope
everyone enjoyed the BBQ/Seafood
buffet. The desert was excellent
as well Ð I made the decision for us to use Styrofoam plates and learned later that
we actually had china to eat off of. HAHA!
LetÕs give a warm welcome to
our new members: Des Meadows of Petal, MS and Ken Kline from Picayune, MS.
With so many Corvette related
events this month, it is obviously going to be a busy spring and summer for our
Club Membership. Keep an eye on
your emails and the club website.
New events and items are being added often.
Feel free to contact me if
you have any questions or comments.
(Robert Kline 228-861-2548) If there is a topic or event you want discussed
at our meetings, please feel free to bring it up.
Thanks to all who were able
to sign the ÒSympathyÓ and ÒGet Well SoonÓ cards that our club has mailed off
to Adam Boca after their tragic loss.
Our prayers go out to their family.
February was a busy month
with a record number of Corvettes joining us for a ÒCaravan to NatchezÓ. Everyone had a wonderful time despite
the chilly, wet weather. The
Annual Valentines Cruise to Catfish CharlieÕs was also well attended over in
Hammond, LA.
Some of you are not able to
get away from home for more than a few hours and March holds several one day
Corvette Events (just for you!).
March 4th Ð Harvey, LA Ð Legends Open Car Show
March 11th Ð Lower Alabama Corvette Show & Fox Hunt
March 16th-19th Ð MSGCCC & MS Corvette Club (Jackson) go to
Bowling Green, KY
March 26th Ð Vettes vs Vipers Ð No Problem Raceway Ð LaRose, LA
All of these events are Club
Sponsored Ð Please let Rain Jaudon or me (Robert Kline) know if you can attend
as we enjoy caravanning to them.
Thanks again to everyone for
their continued support and hard work.
We would not be where we are today without you. I appreciate your questions and
comments and remember, This is YOUR
Corvette Club!
Save the Wave,
Robert Kline
